The Soul Kings are a trio of soul singers whose visuals capture your audience's attention from the moment they walk out on stage. They dress up in matching outfits with oversized disco Afro wigs and wrap around sunglasses. Despite the humourous visuals, they sing fantastically well live to excellent backing tracks and pay the songs and songwriters of the seventies homage.
The Kings have been established since 2000. In that time they have carried out many prestigious events, some have been described below. The mere fact that the majority of the work is referral based, speaks it's own volume. However from each event the Soul Kings are remembered and sought after for any number of corporate occasions.
There is a constant contractual demand on the act. They have performed for the Prime Minister in Azerbaijan and travelled there to entertain the guests and ministers for an annual energy conference. Additionally, they kicked off the party for Edinburgh's New Year festival in Princes Street Gardens 2002-2003, supporting Miss Dynamite and Culture Club. They are demanded throughout Britain from London to the North of Scotland. Such a likeable act does not go unnoticed for long.
The list is endless from Riverboats on the Thames to kicking off the Scottish rugby season in Glasgow where they were the first act ever to get a mention within a rugby review in the Scotsman.
The Soul Kings are also the blue eyed boys of many Scottish radio stations, However many of the Forth DJ’s vote with their requests, over and over again, for the Soul Kings to entertain their corporate clients. This includes end of the Festival Firework displays, corporate events and Charity dinners. They are a flexible outfit who can provide entertainment to satisfy any event whether corporate, private, weddings and charities.
The Soul Kings use state of the art sound equipment and their own DJ to ensure
your entire night’s event has a successful outcome.
