Marty Waugh is one of Scotland’s leading jazz vocalists. After attending the distinguished Fiona Duncan vocal jazz workshop and working with his vocal coach Anne Diack, he has become one of the country’s most sought after singers.

Marty has worked with many of Scotland’s finest jazz musicians including Brian Kellock (piano), Paul Harrison (piano), leading horn players Colin Steele (trumpet), Martin Kershaw (alto sax), Konrad Wiszniewski (tenor sax), Brian Sheils (bass), Kenny Ellis (bass) and Tom Gordon (B.B.C. Big Band drummer).

He has also played at some of our finest venues including The Gleneagles Hotel, The Balmoral Hotel, The Hilton Grosvenor Hotel in Edinburgh for their festive cool Yule party, The National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Murrayfield Stadium (in the presence of Prince William) and has sung live on B.B.C. Radio Scotland’s The Jazzhouse.

Marty can change his style to suit your wishes. He can respond to requests for a "Sinatra type Rat Pack show" with a full big band, a trio or duo of musicians - the choice is yours.
