Band L is an exciting new band based in Central Scotland providing entertainment for Weddings, Functions and Corporate Events.

The band members’ varied musical backgrounds and experience allows the group to perform a wide variety of musical styles in an effective manner.

The band’s current playlist includes Classic hits from the 60’s and 70’s such as “Build Me Up Buttercup” - The Foundations and “Gimme, Gimme Gimme” - ABBA as well as favourite tracks from the 80’s and 90’s including “A Little Respect” - Erasure and “Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” - U2.

However, the group don’t only perform the “Music of Yesterday” but take a fresh approach to more recent Chart Hits such as “Red Dress” - Sugababes and “Hung Up” - Madonna. They also perform hits from the Scissor Sisters, James Blunt, Girls Aloud, Snow Patrol and The Fratellis.

The band naturally transforms into an accordion led 4 piece Ceilidh Band (with caller), playing favourite Scottish Dances like the “Gay Gordons” and “Strip the Willow”, which makes them one of the most versatile bands available.

Their fee for 2008, which includes public liability insurance, all electrical equipment passing PAT, travel costs to Edinburgh, arrangement fee and relevant VAT, is £1345.00. This fee is based on a maximum 4 hour period, finishing by 12 midnight.
