The band has been operating for more years now than we care to remember! They are one of the few bands which play such a wide variety of musical styles.

The play list includes a modern section that is very comprehensive and yet they have recorded three albums for the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, and have recorded numerous broadcasts for BBC Radio Scotland.

The band has played for some major functions throughout Scotland including the Conservative Party Conference dance in Perth when the then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and her husband danced to the band.

The band has performed around the world including three trips to the Far East to places like Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia.

The composition of the band is as follows : 2 accordions, 1 guitar and drums. This can be augmented by fiddle if the dance is biased towards Scottish music. Both accordions are midi’d which allows them to act as keyboards, with the rest of the band providing backing vocals.

Their fee for 2008, which includes public liability insurance, all electrical equipment passing PAT, travel costs to Edinburgh, arrangement fee and relevant VAT, is £850.00. This fee is based on a maximum 4 hour period, finishing by 12 midnight.
