DJs - Disc Jockeys at Edinburgh Weddings

We have a superb line up of disc jockeys used by the top hotels in Edinburgh.

Booking through this service guarantees the following:

A professional disc jockey who is entertaining.

A professional disc jockey who knows when, and when not, to use a microphone.

A professional clear sound system.

A professional lighting system without company advertising lighting up your reception.

A professional disc jockey who dresses smartly to perform at your party.

A music request form is provided at the time of booking to allow you to dictate what music will be played, and/or not played at your reception, not purely choosing your first and second dances.

A large music collection allowing guests to request music at your reception.

In most cases,a disc jockey who can also assist your guests in ceilidh dancing with the disc jockey "calling" the dances.

As Keith, one of our disc jockeys, feels we need to remind you: "If you think it's expensive hiring a professional, wait until you hire an amateur!" Is it worth taking the risk? We hope you don't think so.

Tony

Tony

Following a burning desire at an early age to become a DJ, Tony has now been a professional DJ for over 16 years and has still not fallen out of love with entertaining. He started out doing functions, Christmas parties and weddings in the mid 90s before moving on to become resident DJ in many of the capital’s top clubs and bars for several years. He stopped D.J.ing full time a couple of years back to concentrate on his new career in IT and to be with his young family. He could never hang up my headphones completely as he still has a passion for playing out good music and bringing a dancefloor to life; thankfully he has a very understanding wife.

Tony is available for Friday and Saturday bookings, he specialises in Weddings but also caters for corporate events, birthday parties and functions. Some of the many venues he has played at include: The Caledonian Hotel, Norton House Hotel, Mansfield Traquair, Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh International conference centre and various castles across Scotland. He is also quite used to performing in more intimate settings and has the same enthusiasm for doing both large and small events.

Tony's disco system

The sound and light show Tony uses is not your average mobile disco, he has invested heavily in an audiophile quality sound system and an LED lighting setup. The music comes from a software based playback system which holds the large collection of music available. Each event is very different so Tony would discuss your exact requirements with you prior to the big day. LED uplighting, smoke machine, lasers and other special requirements can all be catered for. Tony has a wide range of lighting options which can be customised to be as minimal or extravagant as required. He asks all clients to come up with a list of musical requirements and makes sure that if he does not own a track, he will on the day.

If you require ceilidh music to be played on your big day, Tony has a good selection to choose from and is happy to call everyone up without being annoying.

If you require a professional and experienced DJ for your Wedding with an extensive CV of DJ experience, Tony is the man for the job. You will be hard pushed to find anyone more passionate about music! He mixes everything to a very high standard and can play everything from house, pop, R & B, indie, rock, chart, cheese, 60's, swing, 80’s, electro, disco, funk to soul.. He has a strong determination to provide the perfect night’s entertainment and actually gets a kick out of providing a great service.

Tony's fee for 2010, which includes public liability insurance, all electrical equipment passing PAT, his professional disco sound & lighting, travel costs to Edinburgh, arrangement fee and relevant VAT, is £395.00. This fee is based on a maximum 5 hour period, finishing by 1am. £25 early booking discount is available upon enquiry.

As money is tight for everyone just now, Tony has decided to offer you your wedding in 2011 at 2010 prices. Please book early as Tony’s diary is already filling up for next year.
