Keith is currently celebrating 30 years of DJing, meaning years of experience providing entertainment for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and corporate events at venues throughout the country, such as Peebles Hydro, Kinkell Byre and The Lodge on Loch Lomond hotel, as well as Dalhousie and Dundas Castles along with many of the Edinburgh's top hotels including the Caledonian, Grosvenor, King James, Balmoral, Carlton Highland, Menzies Belford and Macdonald Holyrood.
Keith successfully completed three years of Christmas parties at the Menzies Belford between 2005 and 2007, with many groups coming back year after year. When the Menzies closed, Keith then enjoyed a very busy 2008 Christmas season at the Macdonald Holyrood hotel, receiving very positive feedback from both customers and staff. As a result, Keith has provided entertainment for their festive parties every year until 2012.
Corporate customers benefiting from Keith’s expertise have included Marks & Spencers, City of Edinburgh Council, Lothian & Borders Police, Sky, Standard Life, Scottish Equitable and Maximillion Events.
With music ranging from the forties to noughties and beyond, there will be something for everyone at your event. Please make sure you complete a Music Request Form in advance, although Keith will be happy to take requests from your guests on the night, providing they are suitable for your event.
Ceilidh music can also be provided and Keith can ‘call’ the dances as well, meaning everyone can take part, from the novice to the expert.
For all the brides to be, Keith has presided at over 500 weddings and is happy to discuss your requirements with you before you book, as well as keeping in touch with you as the big day approaches if required, so that any worries you may have can be resolved, meaning one less thing to be stressed-out over.
Some of Keith's letters of thanks:
Keith did a fabulous job for us last Saturday. His selection of music was just what my wife and I asked for and we thoroughly enjoyed our nostalgia visit to the 60s (and earlier). Our guests commented most favourably on his music choices. I will certainly bear him in mind for any future party occasions. Thanks again. David Gordon 28 March 2015
Keith was great. Played all the songs we wanted to hear. Accommodated others on the night and helped to make it a great night that I will remember. Alex.
Just a short note to thank you very much for all the effort you put in to ensure Deek's 50th birthday party was a success. Since Friday, a lot of people have commented what an enjoyable night it was. Also, many of our friends and relatives gave lots of credit to you as they thought it a blessing in disguise that they were able to listen/dance to the music and still be able to hold a conversation with the person next to you. Also, they reckoned the right records were being played and the DJ, himself, came across as a friendly, helpful and obliging guy who knew his stuff!! Dot Lawson
Just a quick note to say thanks very much again for Saturday night. I really enjoyed myself and I think everyone else did too!! Angela McNaughton

Thank you once again for Saturday night, I had a fab time and so did all my family and friends. A DJ is always a big part of an evening and can either be a hit or a miss but you were certainly a big hit and I am sure my other friends will be in contact as well as myself to arrange the next party. Keith has been fantastic in all the Christmas Parties and we would like to have him back again next year. Lennie Hughes, General Manager, Menzies Belford hotel
Keith has had really positive feedback from both staff and guests over the Christmas period. I personally have been very impressed- which is always a hard thing to do!!!!! Laura McIntyre, Events manager, Macdonald Holyrood hotel
The Boring Techie Stuff: Keith’s commitment to providing a top-quality service is reflected in his commitment to having state of the art equipment to support him. He has invested in the new Denon HD-2500 HDC, which is the top of the range digital music controller, allowing over 100,000 songs to be instantly available to you and your guests. This is supported by a purpose built sound and light system incorporating the latest in LED and laser technology as well as Behringer NEO-850 Active Speakers, meaning an audio-visual experience which will complement your special event.
With everyone having to tighten their purse strings, costs are always an issue and many brides are looking at ways of trimming their costs. Many people comment that you can hire disc jockeys that charge less than Keith and other professional disc jockeys. However this is your "big day" and your reception is the longest part of the day involving ALL of your guests so, to quote Red Adair:
"If you think it's expensive hiring a professional, wait until you hire an amateur!"
Keith's fee which includes public liability insurance, all electrical equipment passing PAT, disco sound & lighting, travel costs to Edinburgh, arrangement fee and relevant VAT, is available upon request. This fee will be based on a maximum 5 hour period, finishing by 1am.Click here to return to the disc jockeys' home page
