DJs - Disc Jockeys at Edinburgh Weddings

We have a superb line up of disc jockeys, who have had more successes at wedding receptions and parties than you have seen confetti. This is due to their professionalism, and their musical choice. A record request form is sent out at the time of booking, inviting you to choose some of the music that you shall hear and dance to at your wedding; not solely your first waltz.

Our disc jockeys are smartly presented using equipment that is fresh in appearance and clear in sound. They are lively and experienced, carrying music to entertain all ages at volumes that are never a turn off. (Please click on each name for a picture and more information)

Iain Duffy is one of Scotland’s premier D.J. entertainers.

Iain has been entertaining throughout Scotland since 1989, starting it all off in style in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall when DJ’s used the black flat things called . . . erm . . . records.

He has performed in many guises; including wedding DJ (a few celebrity ones too!) to being DJ of choice for many blue chip companies with his ‘Corporate’ hat on.

Iain has also been a warm up DJ for many of the local radio stations as well, such as Radio Clyde, Scott FM, Q96, and Radio Tay.

Travelling throughout the country from the Isle of Skye all the way down to sunny Blackpool as the Daily Record Roadshow host, Iain brought fun and laughter to many a highland game or gala day. He has entertained for the Variety Club of Scotland at their Christmas parties and birthday bashes, and other well-known charities including ‘The Maggie Centre’ and ‘The Prince & Princess of Wales hospice.’

As the years have gone on, he has entertained, keeping standards high, in many of Scotland’s finest venues, namely: Stirling Castle, Edinburgh Castle, Glenapp Castle, Airth Castle, Dundas Castle and most notably performing for the guests at Skibo castle every Hogmanay. In fact you name a castle, and he’s probably performed there!

So what about the music? Well he believes the client can choose this; combining his skills, his experience and their choices together, with his entertaining style, to make a fantastic night for all guests present.

The fee for 2008, which includes public liability insurance, all electrical equipment passing PAT, disco sound & lighting, travel costs to Edinburgh, arrangement fee and relevant VAT, is £395.00. This fee is based on a maximum 5 hour period, finishing by 1am.
