The band have been playing together as a band for 11 years at ceilidhs, weddings and corporate occasions. Within this time John and George have played guest artist spots at many accordion and fiddle clubs throughout the U.K., including Shetland.

Accreditations:

• John was the Scottish accordion champion in 1999.
• John and George have both won the Oban individual accordion championship.
• Both John and George have won several championships for their own musical compositions.
• John and George won the Will Starr memorial trophy several years ago playing as a duo.
• John and George performed a duet for B.B.C. Radio Scotland's "Take the floor" and have played several times on the show with the full band including an outside broadcast in 2010.
• John and George have played as guests with the band at the Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival on several occasions, the last time being 2010.
• The band recorded a CD in 2010.

The current combination is John and George on accordion, Graham Crichton on drums and Neil Ferguson on fiddle (when playing as a four piece band). The band play regularly as a trio but a fiddler or keyboard player can be added on request.

They can also supply a disco section if you desire.

Their fee for 2011, which includes public liability insurance, all electrical equipment passing PAT, travel costs to Edinburgh, arrangement fee and relevant VAT, is £605.00. Additional musicians to the three piece band line up are £135 per musician. This fee is based on a maximum 4 hour period, finishing by 12 midnight. (Add £150 for disco section (5 hours)) £25 early booking discount is available upon enquiry.
