The bandleader, has been playing the fiddle since primary school. She was first introduced into the world of folk music through the Edinburgh Youth Gathering. She formed Cu Chulaind's Raven ceilidh band at the tender age of 15, who became renowned for their unpronouncable name and 30 minutes long strip the willow sets!
The band have played a wide variety of venues from Gleneagles and Balmoral castle, to more unusual new-age weddings under a tree! The band leader also played for the biggest eightsome reel in the world (5,000 dancers) at the "Make Poverty History" march in 2005.
The band are very experienced and consist of fiddle and elequaint calling, guitar and drums.
Ceilidh band 2's fee for 2010 & 2011, which includes public liability insurance, all electrical equipment passing PAT, travel costs to Edinburgh, arrangement fee and relevant VAT, is £605.00. This fee is based on a maximum 4 hour period, finishing by 12 midnight. £25 early booking discount is available upon enquiry.
